Hari Haran, a 41-year-old resident of Sadaveripalem, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, works as a clerk in a rice mill. Along with his regular expenses, he also had to take care of his parent's medical expenses. But his expenses were exceeding his income. In this training, Hari Haran learned various financial concepts like savings and deposits and understood the importance of health insurance and thus invested in a health insurance policy for his parents. Hari Haran slowly began to save money as a Recurring deposit (RD) in a bank that offers guaranteed returns. Now, he feels financially secured, and with the help of investment schemes, he can grow his income.
