Rising Above Adversity: How Pooja Turned Financial Hardship into Empowerment

Pooja Dnyaneshwar Kale's journey is one that will tug at your heartstrings. Born and raised in the quaint village of Bhidi, located in the Deoli taluka of Wardha Zila, Maharashtra, Pooja's family struggled to make ends meet. Her father, a daily wage labourer, earned a meagre income which wasn’t enough to provide financially stability to the family.

Despite the financial hardships, Pooja was determined to pursue her education. She faced many challenges, but with sheer grit and determination, she managed to complete her intermediate education. However, Pooja's family's financial struggles persisted, and the looming expenses of her sister's upcoming wedding added to their burden. Despite working a decent job at a call-center, Pooja was unsure how they would manage to cover the wedding expenses.

One day, Pooja heard about the "Jaadu Ginni ka" training program that was being organized in her village. The 4G van laced with monitors stationed at her village was a sight she had never seen before. Intrigued by the opportunity to learn something new, she decided to attend the sessions. Little did she know that the training would have a profound impact on her life.

During the training, Pooja was introduced to various financial concepts that she had never considered before. She learned about expense management, the importance of saving money, and how small savings could add up to significant amounts over time. The training inspired Pooja to make a conscious effort to start saving money from her meager earnings.

Her determination and commitment to improve her family's financial situation paid off. The small savings eventually added up, and she was able to contribute to her sister's wedding expenses. It was a moment of pride and joy for Pooja, who had worked tirelessly to make her sister’s wedding a huge success.

Pooja's story is a testament to the power of programs like Jaddu Ginni Ka posses. Such path-breaking programs that could empower individuals to improve their financial situations is the need of the hour. Pooja was grateful to have had the opportunity to attend such an impactful program and hoped that more people in her community could benefit from it in the near future.
